The Richmond Restaurant is all about quality ingredients and great taste and is a popular locals dining destination.

This charming dining room is located on the first floor giving southerly views across the Market Square towards the castle keep.

Dinner is served every evening and the menu offers traditional, classic and European dishes all at competitive prices. There are a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Open every evening from 7.00pm (last orders 9.15pm).

For Sunday lunch there's a choice of roasts including, of course, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Also open for Sunday lunch 12 - 2pm.

The highly commended wine list displays carefully selected wines from most wine producing countries as well as champagne, pudding wines and liqueurs.

Service is efficient but informal making dinner at The Kings Head and enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Vegetarian and other dietary dishes are available on all the hotel's dining and bar menus and Head Chef will be pleased to cater for special diets with little advance notice.
